For The Body
Weight loss, aging, and genetics can lead to the excess skin around the entire upper leg or even on the inner thigh. We often see patients requesting liposuction to this area; however, when we take a look, fat is not the main problem. It’s typically the skin. Most people don’t know this, but liposuction to this area can make the excess skin problem worse.
Luckily, a thigh lift may be the optimal solution. A thigh lift involves an incision at the crease where your underwear or bathing suit usually sits, which may be limited or run the entire circumference of the leg as determined by the amount of loose skin.
The Procedure
The excess skin is freed and removed. Several layers of sutures are applied to lift the thigh. The process involves much more than just skin removal as the deep tissues are lifted as well. The extent of your particular surgery can only be determined at consultation. Or perhaps the Profound skin tightening will be the correct choice for you.
